Sales in 2007 amounted to £169.8M, an annual increase of 137%, and are predicted to rise to £250M in 2008. Charles Swindon, founder and Managing Director of RJH Trading, was naturally delighted with the result. 2008 International Tin Conference

The 2008 International Tin Conference will be taking place in Hong Kong at the InterContinental Hotel on 14 to 17 April 2008. The Tin Conference is held biennially and brings together the world's tin industry to discuss current and future trends. Charles Swindon (RJH Trading's Managing Director, Chairman of the Minor Metals Trade Association and its Lobby and REACH committee) will be present at the conference and will look forward to meeting you there.

RJH Trading Joins International Antimony Association

 RJH Trading has joined the International Antimony Association (i2a), formerly called the IAOIA. The Mission of the i2a is to serve the common interests of major antimony producers, users and other stakeholders world-wide concerning the environmental, health and safety regulatory affairs of antimony substances and their uses. The activities of the i2a will be determined by its members, and may include conducting studies, dissemination of information pertaining to the safety and benefits of antimony substances, and the development of scientific information for the submission to governmental agencies. RJH Trading are taking the necessary steps, through the i2a, towards registration under the REACH legislation to ensure future supply of Antimony into Europe. RJH Trading Joins Bureau of International Recycling

RJH Trading Ltd has joined the Bureau of International Recycling (BIR) as a Gold Member. The BIR’s primary goal is in the promotion of recycling and recyclability, thereby conserving natural resources, protecting the environment and facilitating free trade of secondary raw materials. As RJH Trading Ltd’s commitment and growth in the trade of scrap metal for recycling has increased, and continues to increase, we naturally wanted to be a part of the BIR. The BIR will be holding their World Recycling Convention & Exhibition 2008 at Monte Carlo’s Fairmount Monte Carlo Hotel from 02 to 04 June 2008. RJH Trading will certainly have a presence at the convention and welcome any enquiries regarding meeting there.

7th Recycling Metals International Forum

The 7th Recycling Metals International Forum is being held in Guangzhou, China from 7th to 9th November 2007. The forum promises to bring together over 1000 delegates from more than 30 countries and more than 30 officers from the state government. The forum is aimed at giving an insight into non-ferrous metal scrap recycling throughout China. RJH Trading will have a presence at the Forum and hope that we can build new business opportunities with you there.

BIR Autumn Round-Table Sessions

The Bureau of International Recycling is holding a convention in Warsaw, Poland from 22nd to 23rd October. The convention is aimed at providing the latest information on the international recycling markets as well as short and middle term forecasts on the development of recycling worldwide. The convention will provide excellent networking and business opportunities. RJH Trading will have a presence at the convention and we will look forward to meeting you there.

MMTA 34th Anniversary Dinner

The Minor Metals Trade Association will be holding its 34th Anniversary Dinner on October 9th 2007. RJH Trading will be attending in force and Charles Swindon, Managing Director of RJH Trading and Chairman of the MMTA, will be addressing the congregation.
The 34th Anniversary Dinner is being held at the Royal Automobile Club. The evening promises to be an excellent celebration, with legendary winegrower and sommelier Johnny Hugel guiding us through the Hugel & Fils wines served during the meal. We are looking forward to seeing you there.

RJH Trading 10th Anniversary RJH Trading celebrated its 10th Anniversary during July 2007. Celebrations were made over a wonderful weekend in Wales with RJH Trading staff and their families. RJH Trading has undergone very strong growth since its beginnings back in 1997. We are planning to build further over the coming years, both on sales and our strong reputation. We are all looking forward to the next anniversary!

Queen’s Award for Enterprise

In April 2006, to mark the occasion of Her Majesty’s 80th Birthday, RJH Trading Limited was honoured to receive the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. This was on the recommendation of former Prime Minister, Tony Blair.The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the UK’s most prestigious Awards for business performance. They recognise and reward outstanding achievement by UK companies. The Category in International Trade recognises outstanding achievement in international trade, sustained over a period of not less than three years.
